We’re back today with a very exciting Faces of Alyssa Gay Consulting blog post! Today, we’re introducing you to Ashley Erickson, our account manager here at AGC!
Ashley is amazing! She is always coming up with unique and creative content ideas and strategies for our clients. Ashley is such a hard worker and conquers everything that clients ask of her. She is always staying on top of the latest trends and best practices of social media and SEO so that we provide the best service with incredible results for each of our clients.

Where is your hometown? Chicago, Illinois
What is your alma mater? The University of Tampa
How did you get started at AGC? I was looking for a role in digital marketing but hadn’t been able to find anything that was a good fit for me. Then I saw the posting for an account manager at Alyssa Gay Consulting and immediately applied for it. After meeting with Alyssa and Shannon, I knew I wanted to be a part of this team! (We’re SO glad you are, Ashley!)
What do you do at AGC? I am an account manager. I work with AGC clients to develop social media content to help market their businesses.
What has your career looked like so far? I graduated with a degree in International Business and Management. My first job was at a travel agency where part of my job was handling their social media accounts and writing blogs. I loved it and started exploring social media management as a career.
Describe a day in the life of your role at the Agency: I spend a lot of time on my computer! A typical day for me is creating and scheduling content for clients. I also make a lot of lists of things I need to accomplish that day and check in with the team.
What’s it like working with the team at AGC? It’s a lot of fun working with Alyssa and the team. Everyone works hard, and we all get along really well. I also like that we are all on the same page as far as growing with AGC. It’s exciting to be a part of a boutique firm that has big ambitions.
What’s the best part about working at AGC? My favorite part is being able to work remotely. I enjoy traveling and taking weekend trips, so being able to just throw my computer in my bag and work from wherever is important to me. Alyssa and Shannon are also pretty great! (Awww, shucks!)
Tell Us About Your Family: My mom and grandparents all live in Sarasota now, too. My mom works remotely as well, so we sometimes we will grab a coffee downtown and work together. I have a small but tight-knit family. We do a lot together, including travel.
Favorite Way to Spend the Weekend? At Disney World.
Favorite or Dream Travel Destination? I want to go everywhere, but top of my list is Australia & New Zealand.
Favorite Read? Harry Potter series, The Great Gatsby, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, The Godfather
Favorite Listen? I love listening to music. I like pop, classic rock, 80s, 90s, early 2000s (I am a Backstreet Boys fan). I also watch a lot of YouTube.
What’s your go-to coffee order? Iced coffee with almond milk
Favorite Hobby/Passion Outside of Work? Travel! I also enjoy going on walks and exploring Sarasota/Bradenton.
Favorite Holiday? Christmas
